Jackson Kayak Bite FD

The Jackson Kayak Bite FD brings serious fishing performance to anglers who want hands-free mobility without sacrificing stability or storage on the water. Built around Jackson's FlexDrive pedal system, this kayak allows you to cover water quickly and quietly while keeping your hands free for casting, netting, and managing tackle. The FlexDrive unit is fully reversible, letting you pedal forward and backward with ease, and it's designed to be removable in seconds for launching in shallow water or transporting the kayak without added bulk. The hull shape on the Bite FD delivers a stable, confidence-inspiring platform, so standing to sight-cast or fight a fish feels secure rather than tippy, making it a strong choice for anglers who want to move beyond paddle-only kayaks.

Storage and rigging are where the Bite FD really shines for serious fishing trips. The kayak features a large, open tankwell at the stern that accommodates a milk crate, cooler, or livewell setup, giving you flexibility to organize gear exactly how you like it. Up front, a sealed bow hatch provides dry storage for electronics, tackle boxes, or extra layers, while integrated rod tip protectors help keep your gear safe during transport and while pedaling. Multiple accessory tracks and mounting points run along the deck, so you can add rod holders, fish finders, cameras, or anchor systems without drilling into the hull. The seating system is adjustable and designed for all-day comfort, with a high, breathable mesh back that keeps you cool during long sessions chasing fish in warm weather.

Durability and handling round out what makes the Bite FD a dependable choice for freshwater and light coastal fishing. The rotomolded polyethylene construction stands up to rocks, oyster beds, and rough launches, while the kayak's width and length strike a balance between tracking efficiency and maneuverability in tight creeks or open lakes. Thigh padding and strategically placed standing areas support anglers who like to fish on their feet, and the rudder control system, paired with the FlexDrive pedals, makes fine-tuned navigation simple even in current or wind. Whether you're chasing bass in a quiet pond or redfish along a grassy flat, the Jackson Kayak Bite FD is built to keep you on the water longer, moving efficiently, and focused on the fish rather than the logistics of getting to them.
