Onyx Outdoor MoveVent Dynamic PFD

The Onyx MoveVent Dynamic PFD is a Coast Guard approved life jacket built specifically for paddlers who demand a full range of motion without sacrificing safety or comfort on the water. Designed with the active kayaker in mind, this Type III personal flotation device features segmented, pre-curved foam panels that flex and move with your torso as you paddle, reach, and twist, eliminating the bulky, restrictive feel of traditional vests. The MoveVent name comes from its signature ventilation channels built into the foam construction, which allow air to circulate around your core and back, helping to reduce the heat buildup that often accompanies long days spent paddling under the sun.

Constructed with durable, abrasion-resistant nylon shell fabric, the vest is made to withstand the wear and tear of regular contact with kayaks, canoes, paddle shafts, and rocky shorelines. The adjustable side straps and shoulder closures allow for a highly customizable fit across different body types, while the open-sided, low-profile design reduces chafing and keeps the jacket from riding up during repetitive paddling strokes. Multiple zippered and mesh pockets are positioned for easy access to small essentials like a whistle, multi-tool, or snacks, and the overall cut is designed to sit comfortably below the arms so it never interferes with your stroke mechanics or casting motion if you're combining paddling with fishing.

Available in a range of sizes and colorways, the Onyx MoveVent Dynamic PFD is suited for recreational kayakers, touring paddlers, and anyone who spends extended hours on flatwater or mild current where mobility and breathability are top priorities. Reflective accents enhance visibility in low light conditions, adding a layer of practical safety for early morning or evening paddles. Lightweight yet rugged, this life jacket strikes a balance between the freedom of movement experienced paddlers crave and the dependable buoyancy protection required for confident, worry-free time on the water.
